It's All In The Bowl

Show & Tell Friday at My Romantic Home
I found a new special day event Show and Tell Fridays.  I am going to show you my bathroom vanity, but before I do that I would like to tell you about some new friends I have found in blogland, as I like to refer to it.   I have come across two of my new favorite blogs to read, they both crack me up. Anna from Wit Behind The Ears and Melissa from Cranberry Cottage .  Stop over and visit their blogs, see if you can't stop reading.
I was already going to tell about the bathroom but now it is in an event; here goes.  I am in the process of getting ready for my daughter's 6th birthday party this weekend and I have been trying to clean, in between blogging, and not being very successful at it.  I decided I should clean out our addition for the kids, because we have a blow up bounce house in there for them and they will use it for the party. Every time I would go to the room to clean I have to pass through my bathroom, and I noticed it is not looking too pretty so I decided to clean and whiten it up

Here is my bathroom, it is not big and we designed it that way.  We wanted our bedrooms to be larger, so we gave up bathroom space, besides I am not a bath person.  I took the pictures standing in the entrance from our bedroom.  The french doors are to the linen closet and the other door is to the new master bedroom yet to be finished.  I also showed several pictures of the vanity and sink, Mr. M. and I made the vanity out of a dresser, hence the reason for the open drawers, not to show you what I have in them.  So if you have ever considered turning a dresser or buffet into a vanity it is really not that hard, and you do not have to fix the drawers, you can just cut a hole in them and make them unuseable.

  4. Thank you. I am making my list of things to do after I write this. Do not be afraid of making a vanity, like I said you do not have to frame out the drawers, just drill holes. I am having a blast doing this blog and all the wonderful women I have blogged with. Thanks for the wishes.
