My Charlie Brown Tree

I must admit, every year when I first unpack this tree from the box, I just look at it and say to myself "What are you thinking!  This is the ugliest tree ever."

Each year it looses more needles than a real tree that has been sitting in the house for a year.

See!  I wasn't kidding, and that is only when I take it out of the box.
It sheds all the time it is up.

Then I plug it in.

Ahhhhh

Then I remember.

I love this tree.

After adding all of the decorations I love it even more.

This is my kitchen tree.

Do you have a Charlie Brown tree?  Have you started decorating or am I the only crazy one?

  2. Your tree is gorgeous! I spend HOURS fluffing and primping with mine, and it still has a vaguely CB look.

My house is almost completely done for Christmas...just a few more things to put out when hubby digs them out from under all of his outdoor decorations on Thanksgiving! You're not crazy!

  4. That's what a fake tree should look like. I like them airy too.

  5. I would have my tree up if I weren't having so many for Thanksgiving. My house is small and I need all the room I can get. I get a real tree and I seem to gravitate toward Charlie Brown trees! All the time!

  7. I love your Charlie Brown tree.....I bought one yesterday that is probably uglier, but I love it and it was only $5. Already have it set up in garage with a star....can't wait to really start decorating it. Thinking about going back to get another one!

  11. I love your Charlie brown tree! You are way ahead of me girl. My mom just took down my halloween decor while she was babysitting for me one day. How sad is that! Miss you! Have a great Thanksgiving.

  12. Oh I am so glad to hear there is another obsessed woman out there who puts up multiple trees!!!! It will be seven for me this year. Now, granted, they are not all huge- some are short and fat, tall and skinny, one is 12 ft. tall and wide, several are normal sized..... It takes me days.... That and 40+ bins of "stuff." One of my friends said that my foyer tree (5 ft. tall) looks like Charlie Brown's tree when it isn't decorated. I have the last laff on her- when it's all decorated, it has more ornaments on it than this friend's does on her 14 footer! I hope to be done by the end of the week. Wish me luck!
