I was at the grocery store with the kids and I could not resist.
I usually do not buy cut flowers for myself, nor do I expect them from my husband.
I would rather buy the plant to have flowers for the season, but these called my name.
I could take a hundred pictures of them, they are so beautiful.
Not pure white but with a hint of pink.
I wish I could keep their beauty as I see them today and make it last forever.
It just goes to show you CAN find beauty everywhere, even the grocery store.
I am linking to my favorite party WHITE WEDNESDAY with Kathleen at Faded Charm.
good thing you took pictures because then they will last a long time. They are fabulous! I don't buy flowers for myself, they seem so costly..enjoy your treat. You worked hard these last weeks give yourself some pleasure!
ReplyDeleteThat's the good thing. You can keep them. You took photos. That keeps them fresh forever.

Yes yes !!! flowers make you happy darling...i know..............love Ria....
ReplyDeleteI love cut flowers and Thomas sends me pale pink roses often. I also send them to family and friends often. Yes, I have gardens and love plants to put in my gardens but receiving flowers unexpectedly is a sweet gesture that reminds us we are special, we are worth it (no matter where they were purchased.)
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful!
Your Friend,
Deborah
Those are SO pretty, good for you for spoiling yourself with them.

Your roses are absolutely beautiful! Roses are my most favorite flower and some like these one's probably would have caught this lady's eye too I bet ya! Every once in awhile I buy myself flowers too.. When they are as beautiful such as these one's are, one really can't help but splurge on themselves!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
~Lynn
Gorgeous roses, Alaina! I wouldn't be able to resist them either. I LOVE the white ironstone pitcher you have them displayed in, too! So glad you took pictures of them to share with us... thanks!

The photo looks so Pretty, I can almost Smell the Sweet Scent of those Beautiful Roses.....
ReplyDeleteThese are just gorgeous and your photos are amazing. Doesn't it feel nice to splurge once in a while?
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful week.
Kathleen
They are beautiful and so is the ironstone pitcher they are in. ~~Sherry~~
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful and so will be the memory with the pictures! Happy WW
ReplyDeleteEvery once in a while I buy myself flowers, too. When I do, all of my boys clamor to smell them and comment on how pretty they look. Something about flowers in a room just brightens the whole look, especially when you don't do it that often.
ReplyDeleteThe color is so beautiful no wonder they came home with you.
ReplyDeleteI stopped myself from buying flowers at the store the other day. I love carnations, crazy huh but love the smell and soft look that they have.
It is amazing how a flower can brighten our day
Take care
Amy
I'm glad you treated yourself to those beautiful roses you deserve them for working so hard!!
ReplyDeleteYou must have missed the first post of my home. We are caretaking it for a couple who live in another province. They have a business that has kepted them from moving here. So I am happily decorating and looking after it for them. This is why I have not painted the cupboards or dining room ...don't really want to spend the time and money . I had to change the peach and will have to change my sons room colour because these rooms are more important.
Homes of this age and character are few and far between here. This home goes for a fortune as well. We might have to move back home if i want a lovely resaonable character home !
Home prices here are too expensive in all of Canada.
Who knows what the future holds!
